1. Coating
is a coating technique used in paper industry and printing industry, when the bottom material is covered (base carton or cardboard) with upper printed material. Coating is performed on special cylindric adhesive machines.
2. Cut
is shape processing of the material by means of a cutting form and the cutting machine for producing POP and POS materials.
3. DTP
is from english DeskTop Publishing - type of complete processing of materials, which are intended for print. By means of efficient programs and computers, it is possible to create professional graphical outputs.
4. FTP
from English File Transfer Protocol; It enables to transfer files between two computers, when one is a clinet and second server of FTP.
5. Plotter
is a computer graphics output device. Plotter "draws" image by using inkjet print heads like traditional printer. Another option is used cutting plotter, where instead of the pen is a tool for cutting (lowscale contracts, advertising foil to cars). Medium may be moving in one axis, or is firmly located and moves only the head.
6. Structure
is designing and constructing specific technical solutions on the basis of the requirements.
7. Scale model
is a model or three-dimensional design of a product using materials intended for the production. It can be made with full colour print. It is also used as an exercise test for filling with correct products.
